Are twins still special?

A story on today's Atlanta Journal Constitution website asks "Are twins still special?" Clearly the writer doesn't have multiples as parents of multiples know they are special. (Take that comment with a sense of humor, please.)

It's an interesting question, though. Given the increase in the number of mutiples, do people still view them as a special package? Or has it become so commonplace it's ho hum now?

Poor Teachers May Hamper Good Students

The study showed that bad teachers can do damage to children, even gifted children. It's an interesting look at how teacher quality affects a child's ability to learn. This article on the study comes from Reuters.
